Escalator
Escalator is an Arts Council England, East initiative that aims to find, support and invest in artists and art form development through a range of programmes.
This is the first time a specific dance-focussed strand has been piloted, with the aim of attracting new dance talent onto the Escalator programme and into the East region.

Dep Arts are one of the partner organisations on Escalator Dance along with
Dance East, Dance South East, Dance Digital, The Junction, Colchester Arts Centre, Trestle, The Wolsey Theatre, Bedford University and the Palace Theatre Watford.
Dep Arts will be working to support the development of the 12 artists who have been awarded a place on Escalator and with the five emerging Producers who are also part of this cohort.
The project will run throughout the remainder of 2011 and up until November 2012
