"Working with Dep Arts as our producers is fantastic, because they take the pressure off the big picture. While we're working on a show, they take care of the admin and the tour. And they've really helped us to find a strategy that works for us - how to start thinking about funding and our next project and where that might take us... and we've learnt a lot from them in terms of producing and how to get where we want to be. Apart from that they're all lovely. Getting together for a meeting doesn't feel like work."

RashDash evolved from a desire to make work that is physically exciting, experimental and challenging both for its performers and audiences. At the heart of the company is a strong, young female identity. Characters are developed from people they know, understand and can identify with, but their stories are told through a form that uses every theatrical tool at their disposal. What remains consistent is a wholehearted, relentless, passionate physicality that explodes across each scene and into every performance.
Physical aesthetic is based on an embodiment of ideas rather than formal technique with a style that is wholehearted and full on. Technique and discipline are replaced by being live and alive. RashDash shows are drenched in music that gets under the skin, images that linger in the mind, and subjects that (hopefully) make you think.
